About Jiaoying Summers:
Born Liang Jiaoying on January 18, 1990, in Henan Province, China, Jiaoying immigrated to the United States at 18 to pursue her passion for performance. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in theater from the University of Kentucky and later studied acting under Howard Fine in Los Angeles.
Jiaoying gained prominence through her engaging TikTok videos, amassing over 1.8 million followers and 1 billion views. Her content often addresses cultural identity and personal experiences, resonating with a broad audience.
In 2022, she released the comedy special “Hot Girl Summers” as part of NBC Peacock’s Comedy InvASIAN series. She also owns and operates two comedy clubs in Los Angeles: The Hollywood Comedy and The Pasadena Comedy, providing platforms for diverse comedic voices.
